NaNo Week 2 is down, how have you fared so far? I admit that I’m nowhere close to where I hoped to be but I tend to be a procrastinator. My best writing days tend to be over Thanksgiving as I mentioned before. This year was supposed to be different but, alas, it is not. Work and kids take priority, even during NaNo. I’m still writing every day and working my goals with my ultimate endgame set to be a completed novel by November 30th.
How are YOU doing? Are you stuck or flying through the words? Looking for a little inspiration?
Tips for breaking through writer’s block:
- Take a walk.
- Dance it out.
- Read a book completely unrelated to what you are writing.
- Walk a graveyard to look for character names for future projects.
- Visit or call a friend.
- Clean your house or reorganize a room.
- Run some errands – hey, great things happen when you’re stuck in traffic or standing in line at the grocery store.
- Take a long, hot shower.
NaNo Week 2 Word Count
